I have been developing MPPNG — Manifold Publishing Platform: Next Generation, a service for publishing Manifold 9 maps online without configuring your own web server or building a separate web application. The idea is simple: upload a Manifold project, select the map or drawing you want to publish, and share the resulting interactive web map with clients, colleagues, or the public using one link. Viewers open the map in their browser and do not need Manifold installed. Published maps can include layer controls, feature information, measurement tools, location search, Street View, saved views and other web mapping tools. Projects can be private, unlisted or public. MPPNG also supports Manifold projects connected to external databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS. I am looking for a small group of Manifold 9 users who would be willing to test the platform with real, non-confidential projects and provide honest feedback. Testers will receive: - Two months of free Professional access
- No credit card requirement
- Direct help with setting up the first project
- An opportunity to influence features and improvements
- Access to the early-bird price if they decide to continue afterwards
In return, I would particularly appreciate feedback about: - The upload and project configuration workflow
- Compatibility with different Manifold projects
- Map performance and reliability
- Sharing maps with clients or other viewers
- Missing features or unclear instructions
- Any errors or unexpected behaviour
MPPNG is an independent service and is not affiliated with Manifold Software Limited. If you are interested, please send me an email (support [at] mppng [dot] nl). I would initially like to work with approximately three to five testers so I can give each person proper support.
