I downloaded the M8 8.33 in 32 bits which is the last version given. But the .exe file says that is installed, but the program never appears, not even makes a Manifold System folder in C:

Any one have an idea? I need to use some very cool forms in Manifold and they only run in 32bits.

That would be nice to have back in 64bits, the forms are a very very powerful tool...

What is the file name, how did you download it, and how did you install it? Note that a 32 bit Manifold installation by default does not create a Manifold System folder in C:

here is the issue, I've run into it myself.

The latest version of Manifold 8, 64 bit is 8.35. The 32-bit version is 8.33. I was using a Manifold 8.33 64-bit, and then I updated it to Manifold 8.35. When I did that, my 32-bit version stopped working. I tried installing the 32-bit version of 8.33 but was given an error as Tomas indicates. When I checked the log file that was attached to the install error, it said I couldn't install it because a newer version was already installed.

Unfortunately, there isn't a corresponding 32-bit Manifold to go along with 8.35, and version 8 does not appear to have a stand alone version like 9.

I am using forms all the time, so I have taken the 64-bit version of Manifold off my computer. I would be nice to see the 32-bit version run alongside the 64-bit version. In fact, I'd welcome the self-contained version.

I have done the same to use forms, 32-bit alone on one machine and 64-bit on another.
