Hi,

I'm following the steps here https://manifold.net/doc/mfd8/creating_drawings_from_geocoded_tables.htm#:~:text=To%20paste%20a%20table%20geocoded%20with%20UTM%20coordinates to import a table with 5 UTM10N coordinates. Sucess with step 1, File > Import csv table. I get a resulting new table in M9 with 5 records and 4 columns (Column1....Column4) corresponding to label, X,Y,Z

I have the table open in the project pane. In step 2, I'm to copy the table. Copy is not available in the menu Edit > (copy greyed out) but is available on right click. So I right clock and copy.

On the Edit menu I have Paste, but that just pastes a copy of the table. Same with right click > paste. yields another copy of the table. I do not see Paste As Drawing.

Not in the Help, I've also tried right click copy then right click > create new drawing but when I click Create Drawing M9 does not proceed and the dialog box does not change. And there is error message.

I've been at this for a couple of hours, reading, re-trying. Any tips?

Manifold 9.0.181.0 (1-Oct-2023).

Here is the .csv file with the 5 points. The provider of the file reports projection is UTM 10N NAD83.

You're following a Release 8 topic, not a Release 9 topic, but you're trying to do it in Release 9. Use Release 8 to match what the topic advises.

Duh. Thanks Dimitri. I must have gotten into the M8 documentation following a web search on the topic. M9's approach of Create > New Data Source > More worked.

May this thread fate quickly into obscurity. Duh again.
