Hello,

I would like to implement in my PC a small database based on SQL Server Express 2014. So, my question is this:

My Manifold GIS it's in 32 bits and I have download the SQL Server Express in 64 bits. They can work together?

Dimitri

I don't see why not. People connect all the time to external DBMS servers from 32-bit machines without knowing whether the server is even Windows or Linux let alone 32-bit or 64-bit. Should be fine.

It should work but and also depends what you are doing.

For example trying to create a server console database may not work. An example of this is, trying to do it with PostgreSQL 9.x which doesn't work.

Nothing better than to try and see what happens.
