When working in a map I can select an object, right click the drawing tab in the map, and select Zoom to Selection. Is there a way to zoom to a selected object in an individual drawing? Generally I select the object in the map then open the drawing to work with it in the drawing's projection. The problem is to find the selected object that is only 1 acre in a large county.

Open the Info pane. Then, once you've selected the object in the drawing layer in the map you can open the drawing and in the Info pane click the Selection Filter on and then press the Zoom button.

Also... not what you asked but also useful... with the drawing zoomed to fit try pressing the Ping button in the info pane to highlight the selected object.

Or, on the navigation toolbar, the Zoom drop down has a "selection" option..

Attached is an Addin I made from a tjhb script in this thread.

Works in a map or individual component, just make your selection then click the icon.

Thank you all. I wish I had asked 5 years ago
