Hello,

I am working in madagascar where the projection used by the national institute of geography is a laborde projection :

Projection : Laborde

Ellipsoid : international

Origin : 18°54' S / 46°26'13.95" E

False coordinate of the origin : 400 000 meters East. 800 000 meters North

scale factor : 0.9995

How to interpret that in Manifold projection system ?

I know that a laborde projection is a oblic mercator but I don't know how I should set the parameters of my projections. I got data with X/Y coordinates in tables, I want to make drawings out of them !

Thanks

rk

While not knowing much about projections, I do not see a parameter that shows any obliqueness in your message. Perhaps you mean this projection: http://www.spatialreference.org/ref/sr-org/6618/html/

Oblique Mercator (B, centered) seems the right one. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
